The successful grid connection of Tianxi's first self-invested 1,499kW photovoltaic (PV) power plant project is a milestone in the Group's exploration of ESG and green development applications. The power station was invested, constructed, operated and maintained by the Group's photovoltaic technology subsidiary company, adopting advanced solutions，combining digital intelligence and sustainable energy to achieve green power generation and efficient power consumption. The project fully demonstrates the Group's firm confidence in moving towards the goal of a zero-carbon park and its resolute determination in sustainable development.

On May 31st, the grid connection ceremony of Tianxi 1499kW PV project was successfully held. A group of leaders including Wang Chen, deputy mayor of Meili Town People's Government, and Luo Mei from the Economic Development Section together visited the site and witnessed the successful grid connection of the PV power plant .

At the ceremony, government leaders congratulated the success of the project. Mayor Wang said: “The grid connection of the Tianxi PV project is the result of Meili's promotion of high-quality low-carbon transformation and development, and a new breakthrough in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection in the industrial park. The project not only improves the energy self-sufficiency of the industrial park, it also provides a good model for Meili town's industrial parks and enterprises to learn and adapt energy saving and carbon reduction.”

Liu Yubing, Senior Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Tianxi Group, said, “Under the severe challenge of global climate change, it has become an international consensus to realize the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. The Changshu Smart Industrial Park is the Group's first modern park to invest in our own photovoltaic energy supply. Through the large-scale deployment of photovoltaic power generation systems, the park can achieve self-sufficiency in energy supply and reduce its reliance on traditional energy sources. At the same time, the park also focuses on the efficient use and recycling of energy, and realizes the optimal allocation and fine management of energy through intelligent microgrids and other technical means.”

The first phase of the project has installed capacity of 1,499kW, which is in line with the direction of the development of energy industry policy. With the implementation of the “30, 60 dual-carbon” target, the energy and power sector presents the innovative development trend of “clean, integrated and intelligent”. The power station project effectively utilizes the roof of the park, which can be used as an indicator of energy saving and emission reduction of the enterprise, and also reflects the sense of social responsibility of the enterprise, and creating a good social image.

Tianxi is determined to take the Changshu project as a starting point and continue to expand outward, rapidly pushing forward the transformation of PV projects in the Group's parks, providing more green energy security for all enterprises in the parks, and gradually achieve total upgrade of the intelligent and green parks, and contribute to the promotion of zero-carbon emission and the realization of the national “dual-carbon” goal.
